Zen Diamond sells only natural diamonds. Natural diamonds formed deep within the earth over billions of years, unlike lab-grown diamonds, which are produced in a factory in a matter of weeks. Every diamond is described by the 4Cs: cut, colour, clarity and carat. Cut decides how much light the diamond returns. Colour and clarity describe how white and how clean it is, and carat is its weight. On necklaces with several stones, the total carat weight is the sum of all diamonds. The price of a diamond necklace depends on its total carat weight, the quality of the diamonds and the amount of gold. Delicate diamond pendants start from around AED 2,000. Initial and solitaire necklaces mostly sit between AED 3,500 and AED 6,000. Design and baguette necklaces with around 0.5 to 2.5 ct of diamonds are mostly between AED 10,000 and AED 30,000, while tennis and statement necklaces start from around AED 22,000.
